BILLU's BARBER reviewed by me.....

Billu Barber is one of the new Bollywood movie in 2009. It’s produced by Gauri Khan (Red Chiles Enterprises) and directed by Priyadarshan, music by Pritam. This film is about a poor man named Billu (Irfan Khan) who owned a Barbershop. Billu lives with his wife Bindiya (Lara Dutta), and his two children Budbudiya (Rajpal Yadav) and Naubat Chacha (Asrani) in the village Budbudda. Billu is very simple man, he doesn’t have any ambition for his life. He has a childhood friend named Sahir Khan (SRK) who known as the Superstar of Bollywood. Billu told this to his family about it, and his family spread about it. This rumor made his family received many prizes from the people in the village who wants to meet Sahir Khan. Billu become the center of attention, people come to him and try to make a friendship so that he will introduce them to Sahir.

Billu refused this friendship and the prizes and said that is very impossible to meet them to Sahir because of many reason. But there’s one man, a rich and powerful man in the village named Sahukar Damchand (Om Puri) who demands to see Sahir and offers Billu expensive gifts in order to gain such a meeting.

One day Sahir Khan came to Budbudda village to make a film shoot. Billu tried so hard to make an appointment to meet Sahir Khan. He wished that Sahir will still recognize him. But he failed, he tried everything and always failed. The people in village accused that Billu lied to them and only took advantage of their kindness. This situation almost made his family doubt his integrity and character. Billu can’t do anything about it. Rather than defend his self, he choose to remain quite about his past friendship with Sahir.

On his last day in the village, Sahir speaks at a local school. He tells to the people about his miserable childhood with a best friend named Billu. In fact one of his reason to make a film shoot to the village is trying to find his old best friend, but he said he cant find him. The townspeople are realizing that they made a mistake on Billu however, take Sahir to Billu's house where the two childhood friends are finally reunited.

This film brought us with a very simple friendship story, and although SRK didn’t play much in the film but still it’s a good movie to watch. It’s also presented Karina Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the item scores. The songs and the music were great, make everyone to dance.

BOLLYWOOD

Bollywood............................................

the name that i will never forget, cause i really like bollywood. do u know what bollywood is?

it's a film industry in India. Bollywood is the informal term popularly used for the Mumbai-based Hindi language film industry in India. The term is often incorrectly used to refer to the whole of Indian cinema, it is only a part of the Indian film industry.

Bollywood is often referred to as Hindi cinema, even though frequent use of poetic Urdu words is fairly common. There has been a growing presence of Indian English in dialogue and songs as well. It is not uncommon to see films that feature dialogue with English words and phrases, even whole sentences.

There is a growing number of films made entirely in English.

Bollywood is the largest film producer in India and one of the largest in the world. Bollywood movies is played worldwide nowadays, in fact some of these bollywood movies were nominated in OSCAR, such as Lagaan, Asoka, and Rang de bashanti.

Bollywood plots have tended to be melodramatic. They frequently employ formulaic ingredients such as star-crossed lovers and angry parents, love triangles, family ties, sacrifice, corrupt politicians, kidnappers, conniving villains, courtesans with hearts of gold, long-lost relatives and siblings separated by fate, dramatic reversals of fortune, and convenient coincidences.

Bollywood movies has it own unique things that some others doesnt have, those are songs and dancing. Bollywood movies always enchanting us with classic and tradional hindi songs and not to forget the dancing.
